Basics

1972 RWA Midget (rust free body with one coat primer & one crappy top coat)

All steel body (no fiberglass), driver door gutted (door beams remain), passenger door untouched.  Interior removed, stock dash remains.

8 point (large man) roll cage ties front footwell, mid cross beam, and both ends of 1/2 elliptic springs (more gussets and bracing in 2000!)

Engine / Driveline

1275 cc L4 with 0.040 overbore.  Balanced & blueprinted 3 main bearing motor.

Big honkin' oil cooler (accusump available, not installed yet...)

8.8:1 stock compression / pistons.  Stock cam / valve springs.   (per rulebook)

Stock dual 1-1/4" SU's.  No velocity stacks / no throughbore :-(    (per rulebook)

Stock 3 synchro transmission with solid clutch.

4.22 rear differential with Quaiffe Limited Slip.

Suspension

Custom valved / STP oiled Armstrong lever shocks all around (per rulebook)

~500 lb/in front coil springs

Offset rear 1/2 elliptic springs (rate unkown, Winners Circle off the shelf stuff)

3/4" front swaybar - 9/16" (I think) rear bar

13 X 6 panasport wheels with 185/60 R13 Hoosier Radials

Panhard rod finally added for 2000!

Ride height at 5" (per rulebook)

Other Stuff

8 Gallon ATL fuel cell.  Steel braided fuel line / Holley pump & regulator.

Fiberglass "Spridgetech" seat.

10" quick release steering wheel.

Electrics by Jones - I laid my own wires to the fuel pump, ignition, etc right on top of the ratty / hacked stock wiring harness.  Put a switchbox next to the shifter.  ZERO electical problems the 1st year.
